Recently, CASCO successfully won the bid of signaling system for Suzhou Rail Transit Line 8, which is the second GoA4 fully automatic operation line that CASCO participated in Suzhou after Suzhou Rail Transit Line S1. So far, CASCO has participated in the construction of 12 GoA4 fully automatic operation lines in China, continuing to lead the industry market.

Suzhou Line 8 is 35.6km long, all underground, with 28 stations. It starts from Xijinqiao Station in the Hi-Tech District, passes through Changjiang Road, Jinye Street, West Yangchenghu Road, Middle Yangchenghu Road, East Yangchenghu Road, Yiyun Street, Yangxian Road, Fengting Avenue, Huachi Street, Jinrong Street, Songtao Street, and ends at Chefang Station.

Suzhou Line 8 runs northwest-southeast and is the backbone of Suzhou ancient city. The line connects several urban centers such as High-Tech District, Xiangcheng District and Industrial Park, and forms a "combined ring" with Line 3, which is about to  be completed and put into operation; at the same time, Line 8 connects the Intercity Railway Business District, CWD, and Science and Education Innovation Zone in Hudong of the Park, and runs through important traffic stations in the Hudong area.

CASCO will provide the industry-leading GoA4 fully automatic operation signaling system for Suzhou Line 8, and will undertake the coherent coordination of the entire project, responsible for the coordinated operation of signaling, vehicle, integrated monitoring, communication, platform door, among others.

After the completion of Suzhou Line 8, it will greatly improve the east-west travel conditions in the northern area of Suzhou ancient city and relieve the urban traffic congestion, which is of great significance to further improve the urban rail transit network, optimize the spatial structure of the city, and inject new energy into Suzhou's economy and society.
