On May 27, the introduction of Chaoling High-speed Railway into the newly-built Linghai South Station and the capacity strengthening project of Qinshen Section in Beijing-Harbin Railway were successfully completed. Among them, CASCO completed the CTC system renovation project of Qinhuangdao-Shenyang Passenger Dedicated Line with high quality and efficiency. CASCO fought side by side with tens of thousands of railway builders, made full use of the 24-hour "Maintenance Window" operation, and participated in creating a new historical record with the longest maintenance window operation time, the largest number of participants, the largest engineering quantity and the most complicated construction organization in the construction of existing railway lines in China.
On October 12, 2003, Qinhuangdao-Shenyang Passenger Dedicated Line was officially put into operation. It is the first passenger dedicated line in mainland China, and now is part of Beijing-Harbin Railway. It is one of the important passages connecting North China and Northeast China and an important part of the northern section of the coastal passage in China's "eight vertical and eight horizontal" high-speed railway network. The total length of the line is 404 kilometers, starting from Qinhuangdao City, Hebei Province, passing Shanhaiguan Station, Dongdaihe Station, Suizhong North Station, Huludao North Station, Jinzhou South Station, Panjin North Station, Taian Station and Liaozhong Station to Shenyang North Station.
In this capacity expansion and reconstruction project, four new stations have been added to the existing Qinhuangdao-Shenyang Line, namely, Xingcheng West Station, Gaoqiao North Station, Linghai South Station and Gaosheng North Station. Meanwhile, turnouts of existing related stations have been overhauled and updated. The expansion and transformation of Qinhuangdao-Shenyang Passenger Dedicated Line, Chaoling Passenger Dedicated Line and Dunbai Passenger Dedicated Line started simultaneously. Confronted with difficulties including tight schedule, frequent changes in design, and epidemic impact, CASCO Project Team carefully coordinated, organized and promoted the project implementation in an orderly manner, and completed the Class I capacity expansion and reconstruction project with high quality and efficiency, which accumulated important experience for the subsequent reconstruction of existing passenger dedicated lines.

CASCO has newly provided the industry-leading centralized traffic control system CTC3.0 and station servers for Qinhuangdao-Shenyang Passenger Dedicated Line, and upgraded the CTC2.0 system of existing stations. Compared with CTC2.0, CASCO CTC3.0 is superior in system performance, safety, adaptability and stability, and can provide more sufficient guarantee for the increasing demand for passenger and freight transportation and flexible train dispatching and command; meanwhile, the upgraded interface display and system functions will also bring better use experience to users.
After the expansion and reconstruction, the transportation capacity of Qinhuangdao-Shenyang Passenger Dedicated Line will be fully released. Among them, the newly established Linghai South Railway Station is connected with Liaoning Chaoyang Station of Beijing-Shenyang Passenger Dedicated Line through the tie line of Chaoling Passenger Dedicated Line, which has become an important transportation hub of Beijing-Shenyang Passenger Dedicated Line, Chaoling Passenger Dedicated Line and Qinhuangdao-Shenyang Passenger Dedicated Line. This has realized the effective connection between Dalian, an open city in Northeast China, and underdeveloped areas in western Liaoning, which is of great significance for promoting the economic and social development along the line and revitalizing the old industrial base in Northeast China.
Recently, CASCO won the bidding of signaling system project of Shenzhen Metro Line 6 Branch and Phase II, and Taizhou Commuter Rail Line S1 Phase I in succession.
Recently, National Intellectual Property Administration announced the decision of the 22nd China Patent Award. CASCO's "Method and Device for Shunting Route Control by Combining STP and CTC" won China Patent Award, which is the 4th time for CASCO to get this award in recent years.
Recently, Shanghai announced the "2020 Shanghai Big Data Service Provider Recommendation List". By virtue of its extraordinary innovation and outstanding economic returns in intelligent and digital solutions for urban rail transit, railway and other main business fields at home and abroad, CASCO finally entered the recommendation list after multiple rounds of selections and expert evaluations, becoming the only rail transit enterprise among the 62 listed companies in Shanghai.
