Recently, the projects participated by CASCO has achieved great success. Hangzhou Line 8 Phase I and Xuzhou Line 3 Phase I began service on the same day on June 28, both of which CASCO provided with complete CBTC signaling system solutions.

Hangzhou Line 8 Phase I is 17.1km long and runs in a west-east direction from South Wenhai Road Station to Xinwan Road Station, with a total of 9 stations. This line passing through areas such as Xiasha, Hezhuang, Yipeng and Xinwan, shortens the trip between Qiantang River's east and west banks from 40 minutes to 5 minutes, which not only greatly enhances the interconnection between the two banks and facilitates the daily travel of citizens in east of the river, but will also play an important role in serving the Asian Games Hangzhou 2022.

Line 8 Phase I adopts CASCO CBTC signaling system solution with intelligent operation and maintenance system, which can realize unified fault management, intelligent diagnosis, intelligent analysis and intelligent positioning. It can offer operation suggestions to provide a strong guarantee for metro operation and maintenance.

Xuzhou Line 3 Phase I, which went into operation on the same day, is 18.13 km long, and runs from Gaoxinqu'nan Station in the south to Xiadian Station in the north, with a total of 16 stations. It is a rail transit skeleton line in south-north direction, which is along the core development zone of the city.

The opening of Line 3 is an important step in completing the construction of metro network with a shape as the Chinese character "大" (means large) in Xuzhou. The line links the east-west direction, north-south direction and southeast direction of the city, and connects urban business districts and living areas, thus greatly improving the accessibility and convenience of urban rail transit.

Hangzhou Line 8 Phase I and Xuzhou Line 3 Phase I opened up a brand new market for CASCO. Facing the new opportunities, CASCO project team overcame all the barriers of the epidemic and short construction period, organized the project carefully and planned scientifically, and finally completed the delivery in high standard and quality, which was a great success for CASCO's debut in Hangzhou and Xuzhou.
