Recently, CASCO have successively received good news from the two national railway projects in which CASCO participated that positive results and growth have been reaped in the operation of new lines and the application of scientific research products.
Newly-built Chaoling High-speed Railway Put into Operation
On August 3, Chaoling high-speed railway was officially put into operation. Located in Chaoyang City and Jinzhou City, Liaoning Province, it's a railway line connecting Liaoning Chaoyang Station of Beijing-Harbin high-speed railway and Linghai South Station of Qinhuangdao-Shenyang Passenger Dedicated Line, with a total length of 105.8km and a design speed of 350km/h.

CASCO has provided the Chaoling High-speed Railway with the industry-leading centralized traffic control system CTC3.0, a safe, efficient and reliable all-round integrated system for traffic control. At the same time, CASCO has provided the train control center system LKD2-KA for this line, which realized the successful application in CTCS-3 high-speed railway line. The system integrates three major features: high safety, high reliability, and high maintainability, which make it an important equipment to ensure the safe and efficient operation of high-speed railways.
On-site Commissioning by CASCO Staff
CASCO powers Chaoling High-speed Railway into operation, realizing the interconnection of Beijing-Shenyang section of Beijing-Harbin High-speed railway,Qinhuangdao-Shenyang section of Beijing-Harbin railway, and Harbin-Dalian High-speed railway. The distance from major cities in southern Liaoning and western Liaoning to Beijing has been greatly shortened, which is of great significance to promote the economic and social development of the areas along the line and facilitate the revitalization and growth of the old industrial base in Northeast China.
New Functions of Intelligent CTC in Rizhao-Lankao High-speed Railway
On August 10, the timetable conflict detection and real-time optimisation of CASCO's intelligent CTC system was officially applied in the Jinan Bureau's Rizhao-Lankao High-speed Railway, which brought a new experience and convenience to the dispatching and control of the transportation department.
The Rizhao-Lankao High-speed Railway is a regional connection line of the national "eight vertical and eight horizontal" high-speed railway network. Previously, the Rizhao-Qufu section was officially opened to traffic in November 2019, and CASCO provided the CTC3.0 centralized traffic control system for this line. Under the technical conditions of the intelligent CTC system, the timetable conflict detection software of the core dispatching station in CTC3.0 has been upgraded to equip the automatic adjusting function.
Rizhao-Lankao High-speed Railway Dispatching Console
In this intelligent CTC project, based on key information such as on-site real-time equipment status, train real-time position and route status, train routing, minimum turn-back time, and arrival-departure line application models, the automatic adjustment of train operation in speed limit scenario and blocking scenario is realized, which will help to improve dispatchers' emergency response efficiency, reduce the risk of manual operation errors, and further enhance the automation and intelligence level of dispatching and commanding.
