Recently, with the trial operation in Nanning Railway Bureau, CASCO’s CTC simulation training system has covered 8 railway bureaus, i.e. Bureau of Nanning, Shanghai, Wuhan, Nanchang, Shenyang, Jinan, Qinghai-Tibet Company, and Hohhot. The system expands the application scope, improves the performance, and provides a new "guide book" for the training of railway dispatchers, which improves their business quality and reduces the risk of CTC dispatching operation.

New version: Widely acclaimed for its performance

Based on past practice, CASCO installed the latest version of CTC simulation training system for Nanning Bureau, including 1 set of teacher platform, 1 set of assistant platform, 4 sets of trainee platform, with more than 30 emergency management processes and 3 basic operation practice teaching processes.

Since its trial at the beginning of 2022, the system has promoted dispatchers of high-speed and general-railway in Nanning Bureau to learn, and has completed many trainings, examinations and competitions, with its performance being widely praised.

Simulation: New "immersive" learning experience

Simulation means the introduction of a completely real CTC system, and a highly simulation of trackside equipment, train operation, multi-tasking roles, which imitates the dispatchers' daily work environment, allowing the trainees to "immersively" experience all the functions of CTC system, as well as the basic conditions of equipment and trains. The dispatchers intuitively experience different exercise scenarios and completely abandon the old "empty talking" mode.

Practical training: Closed-loop management of "learning, practice, assessment and evaluation"

Practice provides teachers and trainees with an integrated professional hands-on solution. With the help of "learning, practice, assessment and evaluation" practical training system, trainees can establish a complete closed-loop training knowledge system, and improve their individual and teamwork practical ability through real time "competition" and multi-platform "collaboration". Meanwhile, all exams are assessed automatically, and teachers only need to release the test, supervise, and manage the test database.

It is worth mentioning that the training function also realizes the standardization of emergency management processes, combining the norms and regulations promulgated by China National Railway Group and the Railway Bureau with emergency management processes, which is conducive to the scientific guidance of emergency management.
