Recently, the results of the 2023 Mao Yisheng Science and Technology Award for Railway Engineers were announced, and two technical backbones of CASCO made the list. Up to now, 10 high-tech talents from CASCO have won this award, which demonstrates CASCO’s continuous efforts and fruitful harvest in talent cultivation.

Wang Yuan, Professor-level Senior Engineer, working as Interlocking Product Manager in CASCO, is responsible for user demand analysis, research and development, standardization of project implementation, technical solutions, maintenance solutions, product performance enhancement, product development planning and others related to interlocking products. For more than 20 years, he has been engaged in work on interlocking products, including engineering implementation and project management of interlocking projects, design, test and review of interlocking software, demand design and integration test for interlocking product development, etc., and is responsible for the preparation of a large number of interlock product engineering implementation specifications and production standard drawings, design and test processes, etc. He has developed comprehensive technical capabilities of interlocking products, and trained a large number of backbones in this field for the company. He has obtained 5 invention patents, published 3 papers, and won the first prize of CRSC Science and Technology Innovation Award in 2020.

Wei Shengxin, Senior Engineer, is the System Development Director of CASCO. As the technical leader of the digital intelligent O&M system, he has been committed to improving the quality and efficiency of operation and maintenance, reducing fault delays, developing innovative operation and maintenance models and other related work for more than ten years. He is mainly responsible for the innovative research and development of digital intelligent operation and maintenance systems, which has solved the problems of digitalization in related fields. He has participated in 5 major research projects, obtained 17 invention patents and 4 utility model patents, co-authored and obtained 19 software copyrights, and published 6 papers.
