9月28日晚，上海地铁官网公布了上海地铁10号线“9.27”事故初步调查结果，公布内容原文如下：

In the evening of September 28, the official website of Shanghai Metro released the initial investigation result of “9.27” accident of Shanghai Line 10. Contents of the released news are as following:

Line 10 to restore operation at 20:00 tonight

“9.27” accident of Shanghai Line 10 has attracted attentions from all the parties. Leaders of the Municipal party committee and the Municipal government instructed relevant sides to start strict investigation immediately. 

After the accident, the investigation team started the investigation and analysis. Shentong group which is responsible for metro operation of Shanghai had started the self-investigation over-night. Through the investigation, the sudden power cut-off of the equipment resulted in the interruption of signaling for operation and the traffic operators of Shanghai Line 10 immediately shifted to the operation mode of manual dispatching, but relevant staff failed to follow relevant management regulations strictly, which finally led to the occurrence of the accident.

By far, relevant authorities and units had executed strict inspection and analysis on the safety of relevant facilities of Shanghai Line 10. Under the circumstances that safety control measures are strictly taken and the emergency proposal is further improved, Shanghai Line 10 is allowed to operate at a limited speed and will restore revenue service at 20:00 (28th, September) tonight.
