The beginning of December witnessed the "centralized putting into full operation" of a number of high speed rail lines, ushering a good end of the year. This week, the Ganzhou-Shenzhen High-speed Railway, Zhangjiaji, in which CASCO participates in the construction, were put into full operation one after another, marking a small peak of new operations.

Three Lines in a Short Time, From North to South

The Mudanjiang-Jiamusi High Speed Railway and Zhangjiajie-Jishou-Huaihua High-speed Railway were officially put into full operation on December 6, and the Ganzhou-Shenzhen High-speed Railway was officially put into full operation on December 10. With the three new lines across north and south put into operation, CASCO CTC3.0 Centralized Traffic Control System covers all the stations along the lines. Ganzhou-Shenzhen High-speed Railway is an important part of China's eight vertical and eight horizontal high-speed railway network of Beijing and Hong Kong (Taiwan) channel, starting from Ganzhou City, Jiangxi Province in the north to Shenzhen City, Guangdong Province in the south, covering a total length of 434 kilometers with 15 stations. With this line put into full operation, the rail travelling time from Nanchang or Ganzhou to Shenzhen is significantly shortened, facilitating the travel of people along the line.

Zhangjiajie-Jishou-Huaihua High-speed Railway runs through the cities of Zhangjiajie, Jishou and Huaihua, covering a distance of 246 kilometers with 9 newly set stations. Honored as "The most beautiful high-speed railway in western Hunan", this line runs through Zhangjiajie, Furong Town, the Ancient Town of Fenghuang and other famous tourist attractions, contributing to local poverty alleviation, as well as regional economic development.

Starting from Mudanjiang City, Heilongjiang Province and ending at Jiamusi City, Mudanjiang-Jiamusi High Speed Railway, with seven new stations and a total length of 372 km, is currently China's easternmost high-speed railway. The successful construction and operation of this line enables interconnection of eight prefecture-level cities within the province via high-speed railway, promoting the formation of a two-hour and three-hour economic circle centering Harbin, which is of great significance to the promotion of economic development in the northeast.

Supported by Technology, CASCO Guards All the Way

All these three lines adopt the CASCO CTC3.0 system, which acts as the "strongest brain" of trains to safeguard the public throughout the journey as the industry's leading comprehensive train operation dispatching command system.

In addition, Zhangjiajie-Jishou-Huaihua High-speed Railway is equipped with an intelligent dispatching command system by CASCO, with new functions of power supply integration and intelligent adjustment:

Power supply integration means that the information interacts between CTC system and PDIMIS and SCADA systems via the interface method, thus realizing the function of power outage and supply signature confirmation, process control and automatic reversal operation, which greatly reduces the workloads of dispatching and ameliorates the safety of power outage and transmission operation.

Based on the priority of trains, intelligent adjustment takes into full account the occupation of line resources (intervals, tracks, entrances and exits), the capacity of line resources (such as blocked/slowed intervals or tracks, etc.), the tracking interval requirements of the running chart and the train crossings to achieve the adjustment of time and tracks.

With the new lines put into full operation together with new functions, CASCO's participation in putting the high-speed railways into full operations not only adds an important piece to the encryption of China's high-speed railway network, but also contributes technical strength to the intelligent development of the rail transit industry.
