On the afternoon of December 4, under the joint witness of the leaders of the four sets of teams in Jing’an District, Lu Xiaodong, Secretary of the Jing’an District Party Committee, announced the official opening of the AI Experience Hall of Shibei Hi-tech enterprises. Yang Haidong, President and Zhang Yanfang, Strategic Vice President of CASCO, attended the opening ceremony and accompanied the leaders to visit and investigate.

“AI Experience Hall of Shibei Enterprises” is the first enterprise exhibition hall in Shanghai focusing on big data scene applications. It brings together more than ten big data representative companies in various fields such as transportation, medical care, government affairs, tourism, security, smart city and dozens of forefront applications of big data in the AI fields, highlights the scientific and technological strength of Shibei Hi-tech Park in Jing’an District, and further enhances the brand influence of big data industry applications.

Located on the first floor, CASCO’s booth mainly displayed three sets of intelligent systems specially customized for this time: the fully automatic driverless system, traffic integrated dispatcher automatic system, and intelligent operation and maintenance system.

The fully automatic driverless system simulated and demonstrated the automatic wake-up in the morning in the depot, automatic leaving for operation, and returning to the depot after completion of operation and automatic sleep. By means of realistic 3D simulation system, it increased the immersion experience and realized 100% real-time interaction. It is worth mentioning that the system also demonstrated foreign object intrusion detection system based on laser radar ranging and AI video recognition, which played the role of diver vision to reduce the possibility of collision in the driverless metro. In addition, the system was newly provided with AI pre-judgment of the personnel behavior, which can analyze the passenger flow and whether there are any unexpected situations such as riots, and provide reference for the dispatcher to handle the emergency situation.

The traffic integrated dispatcher automatic system utilized technologies such as big data, cloud computing and intelligent analysis to integrate the professional functions of operation, power supply and environmental control. It allowed the dispatcher to be keenly alert, greatly improving the efficiency of metro dispatching command. Especially in the fully automatic driving line without the driver, the control center dispatcher took on part of the original driver’s work, yet could easily deal with it with the automation function of the system.

Based on big data, the intelligent operation and maintenance system can predict the status of metro equipment and propose pre-maintenance, so as to realize the transition from planned maintenance to condition-based maintenance, and greatly improve maintenance efficiency. At the same time, the system was more integrated, and can integrate the maintenance of all metro lines in a city on one platform, further improving maintenance efficiency and reducing human resources investment.
