On December 5th, in order to further encourage enterprises to strengthen independent innovation, promote the accelerated transformation of scientific and technological achievements, and bring into play the demonstration effect of technological innovation and achievements transformation, the Shanghai Technology Innovation Center and the East Finance and Economics · Pudong Channel hosted the "Annual Meeting of Shanghai Top 100 High-tech Achievements Transformation" in China Financial Information Center. The annual top 100 high-tech achievements transformation project, top 10 independent innovation enterprises, and pioneers in Shanghai were awarded and the outstanding collectivities and individuals in Shanghai high-tech achievements transformation were commended.

CASCO was selected as one of Top 100 high-tech achievements transformation and Top 10 independent innovation enterprises in Shanghai and ranked first for Interlocking Computer IPS Software. As the representative of Top 10 enterprises, Jiang Jianhua, CASCO’s Vice President of Technology, was invited to attend and gave a speech on the theme of “Building the super brain for rail transit”. He introduced the development process of computer interlocking system and its the transformation and application in rail transit. As the core ground control device, the computer interlocking system, like the brain, determines the absolute security of the track.

In order to overcome this key security technology, as early as 2001, CASCO organized a professional team, invested tens of millions, and started the independent research and development of computer interlocking system. After four consecutive years of hard work, it achieved a breakthrough and truly mastered it. Based on the core technology of multiple security assurance, the 2oo2 computer interlocking system was successfully developed with full independent intellectual property rights. At present, CASCO's computer interlocking system has not only been successfully applied to high-speed railways, but also has been promoted to the countries along the “Belt and Road”. So far, there have been 1,512 stations that have successfully opened and applied CASCO’s computer interlocking system.

At the end of the exchange and sharing, Jiang Jianhua summarized the independent innovation and achievements transformation of CASCO. Since its establishment, CASCO has always regarded independent innovation as its core competitiveness. At present, CASCO has more than 200 patents and software copyrights, and has achieved more than 40 accredited projects for high-tech achievements transformation, with intellectual property covering all major products. The awards will make CASCO stay true to the mission, adhere to the strategy of innovation-driven development, continue to focus on independent innovation, accelerate the transformation and application of scientific research results, and strive to provide "comprehensive guardian and whole-course reassurance" for public travel.
